PURE STYLE
The modern Danish design firm GUBI has fitted out Hotel Astoria’s 93 guests rooms with its distinctively designed furniture. The colour scheme is confined to contrasting black and white, with deep lilac and slate grey-blue acting as contrasts. Consummately stylish yet retaining the soul of the 1935 building, the new design recalls the ambience of a long ago era when the Astoria spelt luxury par excellence in Copenhagen.
