The Spa's sauna themes
The Spa’s 30-minute sauna themes give you an extra dose of well-being. Book a time in advance so you are sure there is room for you. There can only be maximum 25 people in each sauna theme. When there is a sauna theme in one of the Spa’s sauna / steam bath sections, there is an open sauna / steam bath in the other section. Swimsuits are required.

Sauna themes are held when there is a minimum of 10 people.

SPA SAUNA THEMES

FINNISH-STYLE THEME
We start in the steam bath with aromatic oils while the Bath Master tells about the origins of the sauna. After 10 minutes in the 90-110°C aromatic sauna, we “whip” ourselves with freeze-dried fresh birch branches and rub our bodies with crushed ice. Afterwards, pickled cucumbers and soul-warming organic juice is served.

FRENCH SEAWEED THEME
We start by heating up the body in the sauna and enjoying the smell of refreshing essential oils. Then it’s time for a trip to the 40°C steam bath. Sweet-smelling seaweed, which cools and stimulates the skin and has a firming effect, is then rubbed into the body. The sauna theme ends with a trip into the cold tub and then some relaxation in the sauna? with mint tea.

NATIVE AMERICAN SWEAT LODGE
We start in the steam bath by rubbing the body with papaya and gather together like the Native American Indians did in the sweat lodges to cleanse body and soul. In this modern version, we sprinkle aromatic oils on the glowing stones. You will experience the sauna mist – a special aromatic experience with a warm and deeply purifying mist from the sauna followed by a body rub using a special mixture made from an old Indian recipe. After the theme, we serve ice-cold organic cranberry juice, which has a cleansing effect.

ROMAN-STYLE BATH
We start the session in the sauna with a light sauna mist to open the pores. Then we go to the steam bath, where the skin is rubbed with the Spa’s Roman body scrub containing salt, among other things, to deeply cleanse the skin. After a thorough rinse, we put on a honey / yogurt facial mask just like in the days of Cleopatra. After a dip in the cold tub, participants gather in the sauna to be “anointed” with the sweet smell of Ancient Rome. Afterwards, fresh orange slices are served.
